Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P. is a limited partnership engaged in midstream business, which is the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing and transporting natural gas; fractionating and transporting natural gas liquids (NGLs); and marketing natural gas, condensate and NGLs; upstream business, which is acquiring, developing and producing interests in the oil and natural gas properties, and minerals business, which is acquiring and managing fee mineral, overriding royalty and royalty interests, either through direct ownership or through investment in other partnerships. The midstream business is located in five natural gas producing regions: Texas Panhandle, East Texas/Louisiana, South Texas, West Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. The upstream business is located in four natural gas producing regions: South Alabama, East Texas, West Texas and South Texas.
